About A&J Market
Our Story:
Andra grew up in her father's grocery store in Sisters, OR. John worked his way up to management at D-n-D Market in Philomath, OR. In July 1995, they bought Ann's Food Fair, changing the name to A&J Select. In 2018 the store underwent a re-brand to A&J Market. They have raised their children in Stevenson and call it home. Both can be found in the store regularly and are active members of the community. They're committed to providing the freshest, most delicious foods and a clean store, staffed with caring and enthusiastic team members.
Supporting Local Products:
Supporting local businesses and farmers reduces the environmental impact. Small local businesses and growers are a valuable component of a community's character. And most of the money spent on local production stays in the community.
Community Involvement:
We have established a program where by we give our customer a $1.00 coupon for each $50.00 in eligible purchases. This coupon can either be redeemed on their next purchase or can be placed in the donation box. We make a contribution to a charitable group or organization chosen for that month. Since the start of this program in 2014 we have donated nearly $223,000 to a variety of youth, education, non-profit and community groups.
