About

Our Story

Both Andra and John have extensive experience in the grocery business. Andra grew up in her father's grocery store and John worked his way up through a grocery store in Philomath, OR. They bought Ann's Food Fair in Stevenson in July of 1995 and changed the name of the store to A&J Market. They have raised their family in Stevenson and call it home. Both can be found in the store regularly and are active members of the community. They're committed to providing the freshest, most delicious foods and a clean store, staffed with caring and enthusiastic team members.

Supporting Local Products

Supporting local businesses and farmers reduces the environmental impact. Small local businesses and growers are a valuable component of a community's character. And most of the money spent on local production stays in the community.

Community Involvement

We have established a program where by we give our customers a $1.00 coupon for each $50.00 in eligible purchases that they can redeem on their next purchase or they can place the coupon in the donation box and we make a contribution to the organization chosen for the month. Since the start of this program in 2014 we have donated more than $90,000.00 to a variety of youth, education, non-profit and community groups.
